Two very sweet North Branch students came up with the idea of having a Bake Sale to help raise money to donate to our Pantry. Logan Hudson and Piper Kelly with the help of their parents prepared baked goods of all kinds and on July 16th they displayed everything at Logan’s grandparent’s store, the Rockfish Gap Country Store in Afton. They worked hard all day and sold all that was prepared.
On Tuesday, Logan and Piper came to our Pantry with their earnings. We were amazed at what they collected. They handed us an envelope containing $502.
We are so grateful for the young people who think of others and for the parents who inspire them!
